EMPOWERING BUSINESS
Sriracha
We helped Huy Fong Foods – makers of the world’s most famous chili sauce – save $100,000 a year on its electricity bill. SCE also created an economic report for local officials that paved the way for the sriracha sauce maker to expand and create even more jobs.
U.S. Corrugated, Inc.
SCE paved the way for packaging maker U.S. Corrugated, Inc. to locate a new environmentally-friendly factory in Southern California. We teamed up with state and local groups to provide incentives and help the growing company save energy and money at its new facility.
Electric Brewing Company
Unlike most breweries that use natural gas, Electric Brewing Co. uses electricity to make its popular beer. But when sales jumped 1,400% in one year, they had a problem – making that much beer takes a lot of energy. To the owner’s relief, SCE provided an affordable rate plan that allowed them to shift their brewing schedule and seriously cut costs.
